Hi, my name is Agatha. I am a trained interdisciplinarian with experience in EU-regulated environmental and economic policy.

With my experience in data science and research, I decided to go freelance to dedicate more time into building my skills through research and practice. These days, my main interest is applications of machine learning and probabilistic modelling for human choices around conservation and restoration.

Here are some things I like:

  • Long distance running

  • Baking bread and pastries

  • Hiking

  • Getting takeout and watching K-dramas

  • K-Pop

Here are some of the books I have read/am reading:

  • Pattern recognition and machine learning by Christopher Bishop

  • Machine Learning Yearning by Andrew Ng

  • The Elements of Statistical Learning by Hastie, Tibshirani and Friedman

  • Introduction to Statistical Learning by James, Witten, Hastie and Tibshirani (my favorite)

  • I want to Die But I want to Eat Tteokpokki by Baek Se-hee

  • The Black Swan: The Impact of the Highly Improbable by Nassim Nicholas Taleb

My most recently watched K-drama is: Genie, Make a Wish

Here are some pictures of me doing what I love to do!
